Los Peñascales

GROUP OF 6 TERRACED HOUSES: 1 143m²

The characteristics of the land chosen played a decisive role in the choice of architecture for the project. The open space to work in was determined by the presence of numerous granite rocks, oak trees and other vegetation natural to the area. These elements also determined the design of the exterior and the views from inside. The municipal ordinance approved the construction of semi-detached, terraced or detached houses and ÀBATON chose to eliminate the corridors between detached houses and to make bigger gardens.

Even although the houses are terraced it is difficult when looking at the development from the outside to see the typology of the properties and from the interior, there is a feeling of complete independence. The layout of each house was designed according to the client’s requirements so that each house was different although similar at the outset.
